The dual hourly rate does not automatically apply, even if your meter has two counters. To benefit from the dual hourly rate, you have to conclude a specific contract with your energy supplier and ask Sibelga to activate the meter relay. This activation will cost you EUR 130 excluding VAT.
Before opting for the dual hourly rate, check whether this is worthwhile, given your usual electricity consumption.
